Adding Task lists and tasks via Email
Streamline your project management and boost productivity by effortlessly adding task lists and tasks directly from your email. You have the option to set deadlines and assign tasks, which can be managed from the Tasks tab in a project. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add a task list and tasks using email:
Navigate to the
Timeline tab in your project and click
manage your project via Email.
- Copy the project-specific smart email address.
- Open your email client (GMail, Yahoo, etc.) and click on "Compose" to initiate a new email.
- Paste the project-specific smart email address in the "To" address bar.
- The subject of the email must start with Task List: followed by the task list name. For example... Task List: Follow up the new mobile app features
- In the email body, list tasks, each starting with an asterisk (*) followed by a space and the name of the task.
For example:
* brainstorm the briefing with agency
* review the features and lockdown
* schedule a meeting with the VPs
Once the mail is sent, the task list will be created in the Task section of the specific project.
- You will receive a notification after the email is successfully attached to the project.
- You can “BCC:" the unique email id on conversations you’re having outside TeamWave. However, DO NOT use “CC:" If you do so, your unique email id (for this project) will be visible to others.
Notes:
- You cannot add tasks to an existing task list in a project.
- The smart email address is unique for each project.
- Every project member will have access to the project-specific smart email address.
