Project Templates

Project Templates in TeamWave are pre-defined project structures that serve as blueprints for creating new projects. These templates encapsulate task lists, milestones, and other project elements, allowing you to replicate successful project frameworks or standard processes effortlessly.

By utilizing templates, employees can save significant time and effort in the project creation process. This streamlines project management and enhances overall efficiency.
Creating a New Template:
  • Navigate to the Projects Module
  • Click on the Templates in the top navigation bar and click on 'New Template' to initiate the template creation process
  • Fill in the project template details and customize it by adding tasks, notes, files, and other necessary components.

Creating a Template from an Existing Project:

  • Navigate to the Projects Module.
  • Click on the Templates in the top navigation bar.
  • Select 'Create a template from an existing project' at the top right of the screen.
  • Choose the desired project and click on 'Create Template'.

Note:
  • Access to templates requires Project Admin privileges.
  • Only members of the project template will have access to it.
  • After creating a new template, you have the flexibility to make changes, such as renaming the template or removing redundant content.
