How to archive, delete or re-activate projects

Archiving completed projects is preferable to deleting them, as it enables the preservation of a historical record for past projects. Once a project is archived, all associated details, including files and discussions, become temporarily inaccessible until the project is reactivated.
Steps to Archive:
  • Navigate to your Project.
  • Click on the Configurations tab.
  • Select the General tab.
  • In the Project Status section, choose the Archive option.

  • Once archived, all details associated with the project, such as files and discussions, become inaccessible until reactivation.
Accessing Archived Projects
  • Go to the Projects homepage.
  • Change the project filter to Archived Projects at the top left corner.

Deleting/Reactivating an Archived Project

Steps to Delete/Reactivate:
  • On the Projects homepage, set the filter to Archived Projects.
  • Select the desired project from the list.
  • At the top of the project page, choose Delete Permanently to delete or Activate this project to reactivate.

Deleting a Project

Steps to Delete:
  • Navigate to your Project.
  • Click on the Configurations tab.
  • Select the General tab.
  • Click on Delete Project in the Project Status section.
  • Confirm the deletion.

Note:
  • Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
  • This action is restricted to users with PM Admin privileges.
  • We recommend archiving instead of deleting for record-keeping and unlimited storage.
