How to archive, delete or re-activate projects
Archiving completed projects is preferable to deleting them, as it enables the preservation of a historical record for past projects. Once a project is archived, all associated details, including files and discussions, become temporarily inaccessible until the project is reactivated.
Steps to Archive:
- Navigate to your Project.
- Click on the Configurations tab.
- Select the General tab.
- In the Project Status section, choose the Archive option.
- Once archived, all details associated with the project, such as files and discussions, become inaccessible until reactivation.
Accessing Archived Projects
- Go to the Projects homepage.
- Change the project filter to Archived Projects at the top left corner.
Deleting/Reactivating an Archived Project
Steps to Delete/Reactivate:
- On the Projects homepage, set the filter to Archived Projects.
- Select the desired project from the list.
- At the top of the project page, choose Delete Permanently to delete or Activate this project to reactivate.
Deleting a Project
Steps to Delete:
- Navigate to your Project.
- Click on the Configurations tab.
- Select the General tab.
- Click on Delete Project in the Project Status section.
- Confirm the deletion.
Note:
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
- This action is restricted to users with PM Admin privileges.
- We recommend archiving instead of deleting for record-keeping and unlimited storage.
