How to edit and complete Tasks in CRM?

Once you’ve created tasks, you can view, edit, complete, or delete your tasks from different places in your TeamWave account. Users with Super admin permissions can manage which users have permission to view and edit tasks. 

View tasks

You can view all tasks on the tasks dashboard, as well as filter to view tasks that meet specific criteria. 

Filter tasks on the tasks dashboard

  • In your TeamWave account, navigate to CRM > Tasks.
  • Use the search bar to search for a specific task by name.
  • By default, you will view all tasks. Depending on your user permissions, you can filter by who the task is assigned to. To view tasks assigned to specific users, click the All tasks dropdown menu, then select the checkboxes next to the users' names. 
  • You can use the quick filter dropdown menus to filter the tasks you want to view: 
    • Tags: select from tags attached to the task.
    • Task Status: select from completed or open status of the tasks


Edit, complete, and delete tasks

You can edit, complete, or delete your CRM tasks on the tasks page, Deals page and your Gmail Inbox.

Work with tasks on the CRM tasks page

  • In your TeamWave account, navigate to CRM > Tasks
  • To complete a task, click the checkmark to the left of the task.
  • To edit or delete a task, click on the Task. In the pop-up panel:
    • To edit, make changes to the task details and the changes are automatically saved.
    • To delete, at the top right of the panel, click Delete. In the dialog box, click Delete to confirm.


Work with tasks on the CRM Deal Details page

  • In your TeamWave account, navigate to CRM > Deals.
  • Navigate to the deal that contains the task. 
  • To view any tasks associated with the deal, click the Tasks tab.
  • To complete the task, click the checkmark to the left of the task.
  • To edit or delete a task, click on the Task. In the pop-up panel:
    • To edit, make changes to the task details and the changes are automatically saved.
    • To delete, at the top right of the panel, click Delete. In the dialog box, click Delete to confirm.


Work with tasks in your Gmail inbox

  • Login to Gmail and install the TeamWave add-on.
  • Login to your TeamWave account by clicking on the TeamWave Logo
  • Next, open the email that is associated with the task and scroll down to the tasks section 
  • To complete the task, click the checkmark to the right of the task.
  • To edit a task, click on the Task. Then:
    • To edit, click the Edit Task button.
    • Once the changes are complete, click on the Save Task button
